Recently voted one of the “Top 10 Most Breathtaking Beaches” by Forbes, Mal País, until a few years ago, was a very unpopulated beach community located on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. However, the secret is out!
Tourism has risen in Mal País, Costa Rica over the last few years, bringing with it better roads, more amenities, a wide variety of hotels, restaurants and shops, and people from all over the globe who now call it home. Most of this development has occurred in the heart of town, Santa Teresa, while Playa Hermosa remains very quiet. For this very reason we have decided to build our beachfront hotel here.
